The Best Family Holiday in Peaceful South West France
Feeding the Ducks!
At Le Phénix we don't just accept children, we love having them here. Happy children make for happy parents and so much is on offer here that they are always busy! There is lots to do outside: swimming pool with slide, bike riding (childrens bikes in all sizes (with helmets) plus one baby seat on an adult bike!! We also have archery (junior and adult bows), boules, croquet, ping pong, swings and slides (one baby seat), a massive trampoline with safety net all around, and feeding the ducks not forgetting the gardens and grounds of 35 acres.
Inside we have a whole host of toys and games in the sitting room - Jenga, Monopoly, Junior Monopoly, Scrabble, and Memory Games to name but a few. We also have a Nintendo and full satellite television.
We also provide early suppers for children if required. Just like adults, our children's dishes are all fresh and home-cooked using excellent ingredients whilst being aware that children can be fussy what they eat when they are away. So we have some favourite and fun items to ensure your children feel catered for. We know ourselves that if your children are not happy eating where you choose to stay can take the edge off your holiday.
Some ideas of our children's menus are as follows:-
- Hot Jacket Potatoes with Tuna Mayonnaise
- Homemade Fish or Chicken Goujons
- Le Phénix Lasagne (the best!)
- Pasta Shapes Or Meatballs with Tomato and Basil Passata
- Ice Cream
- Pancakes, etc etc!!!
We also have for your use two three wheeled buggies, carry cot, cots, bedsides, highchairs, listening devices not to mention handy extras like bottle warmers, child size cutlery and changing mats for the youngest of your troupe!
There is also loads to do with your children in and around the area. The Cité de L'Espace at Toulouse, the Safari Park at Plaisance du Touche, 3D Animal Archery, Jardins de Martels (with its mini farm and narrow guage steam train at Giroussens and Le Cri de Tarzan (acrobranching at its finest) at Puylaurens to name but a few.
